Unlike many watch stores, EmmyWatch is not a watch reseller. EmmyWatch restores watches and sells restored watches to watch enthusiasts. All of the watches we sell have been thoroughly restored by our founder and master watchmaker Emily Newsom. At EmmyWatch we believe in restoring vintage watches to near-OEM specs while still maintaining originality and authenticity. The result of our unique restoration process is that we can sell restored, authenticated, daily-wearable, and reliable vintage watches with a warranty to every-day watch enthusiasts with an AD-like buying experience!

Who Is Qualified To Service The Watch I Bought?

EmmyWatch can service every watch we sell. We always recommend sending the watch to us for the best servicing experience and result. We are the vintage watch experts and will treat your watch with the respect it deserves. Read more about our watchmaking here.

How Accurate Are The Watches You Sell?

At EmmyWatch we strive to restore watches back to within OEM specs, as a result, we generally expect OEM-like accuracy. Accuracy is largely dependent on the watch brand and period. For example, in the 1940s accuracy standards of the top brands weren’t the same as they were in the 1960s, and in the 1960s they weren’t the same as the the 1990s, etc. In general we try to get all watches running < +-10s per day, with some older pieces being < +-15s per day.

A Watch I Want Is Out Of Stock?

Our watches tend to sell fast once they are posted to the store. Unfortunately, sometimes a watch will sell before you have a chance to buy it. For this reason, we have created the EmmyWatch watch release newsletter and web notifications. Be sure to subscribe and never miss a watch again!

What Does The Warranty Cover?

When you purchase a watch on EmmyWatch you always receive a warranty with your new watch. The warranty covers any manufacturing, functional, or restoration defeats for a period of 1 year. For specifics please see our warranty section for more information.

What Brands Do You Sell?

We sell most mid-to-high end watch brands from periods ranging from 1940-2000s. Visit the store to view what watches and brands we currently have in stock for purchase. Some of the brands we deal with most are shown below.

Where can I purchase a watch?

We recommend that you purchase directly from the EmmyWatch store and website–by doing so we can guarantee the best experience for you. In addition to our website, we also list our watches on Etsy, eBay, and Instagram.

How Does Shipping/Taxes Work?

Watches are packed up safely and shipped to you. Generally we use the postal service with tracking and signature options to ensure you receive the watch without issue. If you prefer using a specific shipping method, please contact us and we can try to accomodate you.

Depending on your country, we generally don’t collect tax from you during your purchase. When the watch is received by you there may be some tax due for your purchase. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Do You Take Trades?

Our watch purchase/trade system is coming soon. Eventually you will be able to sell us your watch or trade your watch to us towards a purchase of a new watch. Stay tuned to the EmmyWatch newsletter for more updates.

Do You Have Discounts Or Sales?

At EmmyWatch we always try to offer the best possible price year around, we also don’t believe in bombarding you with perpetual sales announcements. Generally we will not negotiate or give discounts on any of our watches, but occasionally we will offer sales on some of our watches a few times per year. The best way to learn about a sale is by subscribing to the EmmyWatch newsletter.

Does EmmyWatch have a physical store?

EmmyWatch is currently an online-only storefront. We do not offer a physical store at this time. The address we provide on our contact page is our shipping address only, please do not try to visit us at this time.

Our zero-headache warranty

2 week no-questions-asked returns + our 1 year zero-headache warranty.

If you are unsatisfied with your watch purchase during the first 14 days, you can return it for your full money back. Watches must be in the same condition they were sold in and must be packaged in the original packaging. Once we receive your return and our watchmaker verifies the condition and authenticity, we will refund your payment no-questions-asked.

To ensure our customers have a zero-headache experience we sell all watches with a 1 year warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturing, functional, or restoration defects for a period of 1 year. If there are any manufacturing, functional, or restoration defects with a watch within reason, we will resolve the issues as soon as possible at our expense. The warranty generally does not cover damage caused by watch misuse or customer negligence. We always replace all of the seals in a watch, but in general we do not guarantee our watches to be waterproof to modern standards (swimable) unless listed in the product listing. If in doubt, please contact us and we can help answer any questions you may have.
