I’m so excited to introduce this stunning 1972 Dior Bulova watch in white gold. The Dior Bulova collection started in 1968 as a pilot project and was incredibly successful the first year. After a banner first year, the Dior Bulova collaboration grew into a full-blown collection that continued for several years into the 1970s. This model available for purchase here was the most expensive model available during 1972 ($95 in 1972, or $712 in 2024), as shown in the advertisement, and features a white gold plated case with a stainless steel caseback.

The watch features a stunning high-end textured dial with deep blue irredescent appliqué that elegantly form 2 semi-circles, making the watch feel very Mod in design (as was the fashion rage in the 1960s-early 1970s). The beautiful dial is complemented by sleek blue stick hands.

The restored watch shows in near-NOS (new old stock) condition. The watch features the original Dior crown and buckle and has a new genuine lizard strap. The watch has a new acrylic crystal and the dial and hands have been delicately cleaned and show as-new. The watch is powered by the swiss-made Bulova 5BC manual wind movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping.

The watch is 22mm in diameter, which was common for women’s watches of the period and would be suitable for wrist sizes ranging from 5.5″ to 6 3/4″. As the highest end model from the 1972 Dior Bulova collaboration, this timepiece is a rare find in this condition. Backed by EmmyWatch’s zero headache warranty, you can indulge with confidence and peace of mind. Make this stunning 1972 Dior yours today–“The liberated watch for the liberated woman”.
