It shares similarities with the 1402N movement, but the exact differences between the two are not known. The movement features various functions including automatic winding, sweep seconds, a day indicator set by a pusher at 10 o'clock, a date hand set by a pusher at 4 o'clock, a month indicator set by a pusher at 2 o'clock, and a moon phase display set by a pusher at 8 o'clock.
