It features a ratchet on the dial side and incorporates a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. While it is similar to the A. Schild 954 movement, the 1096 model incorporates a different mainspring. Notably, the specific differences between the 1062 and 1096 movements are not known. The Unitas 144 movement was commonly used around the year 1935.
