Return To ShopThe Tissot 2581 watch movement, used from 1963 onwards, features an automatic mechanism with a ring rotor that rotates on 9 ruby balls. The movement includes additional jewels in the three plates, which serve to hold the fixed inner ring of the rotor bearing. There are no known differences between the 1160 and 1161 variations of this movement. The functions of the movement include automatic winding, a sweep second hand, and a date function that can be quickly adjusted by repeatedly pulling the crown.
