Return To ShopThe Tissot 2140 is a manual wind watch movement with sub second function. It falls under the Wehrmachtswerk (Germany Military Movement) category, similar to the AS 1130 movement. The differences between various calibres within this line, such as the 1130, 1142, 1149, 1243, 1286, 1295, 1304, 1339, 1383, 1387, 1392, 1399, 1401, 1420, 1487, 1502, 1522, 1540, 1542, 1548, 1573, 1597, 1667, and 1685, are not known. There are two calibres with 13.5''' (1337, 1511) and two with 14''' (1486, 1543) within this line. Additionally, there are three calibres with indirect sweep second (1155, 1164, 1195). The Tissot 2140 was produced for a short period around 1955 until it was replaced by the AS 1188 with direct sweep second.
