Return To ShopThe Tissot 11.7-T watch movement is a pin-lever escapement mechanism with an indirect minute hand friction clutch on the barrel. It is part of a family of movements with various variants, of which the known ones are listed here. The movements typically bear the signature of the main variant produced. The 8429 movement functions as a manual-wind chronograph with 60-second and 15-minute measurements, cam switched. It can also function as a manual-wind timekeeping movement with a sub-second hand. The movement incorporates a quickset date feature achieved through reverse setting. Additionally, it includes sub-seconds, a pin lever escapement, and a calendar function. This movement was predominantly used around 1975.
