Return To ShopThe Timex M109 watch movement, used from 1958 to 1962, is a chronometer with an integrated winding gear. Unlike traditional manual-wind calibers, the winding gear is incorporated within the movement, resulting in an acceptable height. Notably, the movement features a unique indirect sweep second motion facilitated by a magnet in a bushing instead of a friction spring. This innovation ensures smooth operation, with the sweep-second arbor running on the polished surface of the magnet. Additional functions of the movement include automatic winding, sweep second function, date setting by changing 22-24 hours, and a hack feature.
