Return To ShopThe Standard 969 is an open face calibre watch movement with a setting lever positioned between the plates. The setting lever sticks out of the movement during setting, and the movement is typically only uncased when the crown is in the winding position. It features a bimetallic screw balance with two adjustment screws. Additional options include the Breguet hairspring and Reed's regulator. This movement family, including the variants I and II of the Cortebert 474, has been subject to experimentation. The Standard 969 offers stem winding and setting, along with a sub-second function. It was primarily used around the period of 1910.
