It features an automatic chronograph with functions that include a 60-second counter, a 30-minute counter, and a 12-hour counter, all of which are cam switched. The movement also includes a sub-second display, a 24-hour display, and a day function that can be set using a pusher. The date hand can be quickly set, and the month can be adjusted through the date feature. Additionally, the movement includes a hack feature. The Seiko 7001A movement was used during the period from 1994 onwards.
