Return To ShopThe Schild & Co 220 watch movement is an early fixed, later mobile stud carrier movement with an indirectly driven minute hand, allowing for a relatively big balance and low profile. It shares similarities with the calibres 2485, 2482, and 2487, which are nearly identical but mirror inverted. These movements have a manual wind function and were utilized around the period of 1960. Additionally, an equivalent pair of movements was produced as the Eterna 1437/1447, although the positions of the dial feet were mirrored, making them incompatible. The exact reason for the existence of these twin movements, especially for two-hands movements, remains unknown.
