Return To ShopThe Puw 1464 watch movement, produced exclusively for Mido from 1935 to 1954, features a base plate derived from the AS 1131/1132. It offers optional black rhodium plating and a pink-gold plated train. Notably, it includes the Incastar regulator, which is the only large-scale produced regulator featuring a free oscillating hairspring. The end of the spring is fixed between two rollers, allowing for the adjustment of its length. This design eliminates isochronism error caused by the gap between the regulator pins. Additionally, the Puw 1464 movement incorporates several functions such as automatic (bumper) winding, sweep seconds, and Incabloc Shock Protection.
