Return To ShopThe Otero 900 is a watch movement introduced in 1962. It features a micro rotor and can have either 21 or 30 jewels, with a double jewel bearing. The movement includes a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier. It incorporates a selfwinding gear with direction switching facilitated by a pinion floating between two large jewels. The minute and second hands are indirectly driven, allowing for a low profile design. Notably, the hour wheel runs in an oval hole and is pressed by a spring, which is integrated into wheel C for precise bearing and reduced height. Minor modifications to the base plate were made since 1966/67. The movement includes functions such as automatic winding, sweep seconds, and Incabloc shock protection. It has been in use since 1962.
