Return To ShopThe Omega 27 watch movement is a 0-size, open face calibre with a model 7 designation. Manufactured in 1915, approximately 1000 units of this movement were produced. It features a bimetallic screw balance and utilizes a Breguet hairspring. The negative stem mechanism allows for stem winding and setting of the watch. With a sub second function, this movement shares similarities with the model 3 and model 5 but has a smaller base plate. While the specific differences between the model 3, 5, and 7 are unknown, the Omega 27 movement exhibits these key attributes and was commonly used around 1911.
