Return To ShopThe Mido 1117PC watch movement, developed in 1949, was the first gents automatic-family movement to feature a ball-bearing rotor. Shortly after its introduction, it was replaced by the 1246UT, which had a different rotor shape. Modifications were made to the movement throughout its production period, including a change from T- to U-type shock devices and a modified calibre. This led to the emergence of various variants, some of which included the TC designation. However, it is uncertain if all calibres were produced in this variant. The 1246T movement, with its detached manual wind and details similar to the 1249UC, features several functions, including automatic winding, sweep second hand, and a date display. It also incorporates calendar features.
