The watch itself does not have a manual wind function, relying solely on the automatic winding system. The alarm, on the other hand, requires manual winding. Other notable features of the Lemania 8818 movement include shock protection, a sweep second hand, and a quickset date function activated by a button positioned at the 2 o'clock position.
