It features an integrated winding gear, which is uncommon for manual-wind calibres. This innovative design results in an acceptable height for the movement. Notably, the Kienzle 072/25 incorporates a unique mechanism for the sweep second hand, utilizing a magnet in a bushing instead of a friction spring. The end of the sweep-second arbor glides smoothly on the polished surface of the magnet.
