Return To ShopThe Jaeger Lecoultre 814 watch movement is a mechanical movement that features a pin-lever escapement. It has a ratchet on the dial side and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The movement is built on a 2-layer base plate design. While the specific differences between the 259, 260, and 262 models are not known, the Oris 262 is listed with a pin lever by Flume, whereas the 259-261 models are listed with a Swiss lever. The escape wheel of the Jaeger Lecoultre 814, as shown in the drawing, confirms its use of a Swiss lever. However, other registers commonly list all calibers of this family with a pin lever, and no samples with a Swiss lever have been seen so far. The Jaeger Lecoultre 814 movement offers manual wind functionality, a sub second display, and was used around 1947.
