The movement's pendant is mounted directly on the movement itself. It is worth noting that early calibres of this watch movement lack consistent and reliable documentation, which has resulted in limited information regarding their features and specifications. However, based on reasonably known calibres, the Hamilton 780 offers various functions, including a timer with a duration of 60 seconds (with an accuracy of 0.2 seconds) and a 30-minute duration. Additionally, there is an optional version with a 30-second timer (with an accuracy of 0.1 seconds) and a 15-minute duration. The movement also enables an additional timer function, allows for stem winding, features a sweep second hand, and is estimated to have been used around 1935.
