Return To ShopThe General 66 is a cylinder escapement watch movement with a ratchet on the dial side and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. It belongs to a series of movement generations, with the Langendorf 1 to 160 partially designating different sized calibers. Later produced calibers received a new designation that included the width in whole lignes and the old generation number, such as the Langendorf 8160. This movement features manual winding, a sub second hand, and was predominantly used around 1935.
