Return To ShopThe Fontainemelon 72-6 is a manual wind mechanical watch movement with a relatively big balance and low profile. It is part of a set of nearly identical calibers along with the 2480, 2485, and 2487. These calibers are mirror inverted, and a similar pair was also produced under the Eterna 1437/1447 name. The dial feet positions are mirrored as well, making it impossible to interchange the dials between the variants. The reason for these twin sets and their specific characteristics remains unknown. The Fontainemelon 72-6 was in use approximately around the 1960s.
