The Fontainemelon 238 watch movement, manufactured around 1925, is a manual wind movement with a sub second function. It features a bimetallic screw balance and does not have a setting-lever spring, although some other AS calibres have been found with and without this component. The specific differences between the 612, 632, 664, 669, and 687 calibres are not known.
