These movements are commonly referred to as Leonidas movements, although they often bear the Venus signature, indicating their likely manufacture by Venus, potentially exclusively for Leonidas. The movement incorporates a timer function with a precision of 60 seconds (0.2 seconds) and a 30-minute counter, controlled by a pillar wheel system. Optionally, it can be configured to have a 30-second (0.1 seconds) timer and a 15-minute counter. It also supports an additional timer function. The movement is stem-wound and includes a sweep second hand. It was primarily used around 1949.
