Return To ShopThe Eterna 1471K watch movement, used from 1977-1988, features a free Breguet hairspring and a balance with regulating screws. It is equipped with Kif shock protections for the balance and escapement wheel. Notably, the train and hand gear are separately driven by the barrel, with the train driven by the pinion under the off-center 2nd wheel up to the escape wheel, and the hand gear driven by the center pinion. This unique design allows for a low profile and accommodates a large balance, albeit requiring precise and stable gears. In terms of functions, the Eterna 1471K movement is automatic, has a sweep second hand, offers a quickset date feature, and includes a hack feature.
