The movement featured a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier. A selfwinding gear incorporated a pinion floating between two prominent jewels for direction switching. Additionally, the movement allowed for a low profile through indirectly driven minute and second hands. The ETA 2891A9 movement encompassed automatic functionality, sweep second hand feature, and the ability to set the date by changing 23-24 hours.
