Return To ShopThe ETA 2527 watch movement, patented in 1953, features a double-excenter winding mechanism with jewelled rollers. It includes a double jewel-bearing rotor, which is secured by a locking bar positioned between both jewels. This movement incorporates an intermediate wheel between the minute pinion and the rest of the train, enabling a large balance and low profile without compromising durability. Additionally, this design allows for the placement of the seconds wheel either in the center or as a sub-second, without the need for additional modifications. Noteworthy functions of the ETA 2527 movement include automatic winding and sweep seconds.
