Return To ShopThe Elgin 467 watch movement features a pin-lever escapement and an indirect minute hand friction clutch on the barrel. It incorporates a unique mechanism where only the second is stopped while the movement continues running. In early sample models, Palierfix combined settings were utilized instead of true shock devices. Variations in balance cocks have been observed, although the specific differences between the 144 and 145 models are unknown. This movement is designed for a simple manual-wind chronograph function, limited to a 60-second measurement with only start/stop capabilities and lacks a reset feature. Additionally, it incorporates a sweep second hand and falls within the period of approximately 1960.
