In the case of the pallet lever option, it incorporates a barrel with Geneva stopwork. The movement includes various functions such as a timer rattrapante with 60-second (0.2s) and 30-minute capabilities, operated by a pillar wheel. Additionally, it has the possibility of a 30-second (0.1s) and 15-minute option, an addition timer, stem winding, and a sweep second hand. The Elgin 379 movement was widely used around 1980.
