It was produced around 1925 and variations of this movement were manufactured with various bridge layouts, some of which may have been labeled as AS 340. However, specific differences between the different variations are not known as they were only listed with individual designations in old data sheets. Additionally, there are a number of other A. Schild movements listed with different designations, such as 302, 303, 311, 313, 323, 324, 328, 329, 333, 342, 344, 361, 362, 365, 371, 383, 396, 473, 549, 569, 585, 595, 603, 621, 629, 636, 694, 709, 714, 717, 720, 731, 775, 790, 803, 825, 915, and 951.
