Return To ShopThe Dugena 688 watch movement, produced from 1974 onwards, features a pin-lever escapement and an indirect minute hand friction clutch on the barrel. The releasing stem requires strong pulling of the crown while turning it counterclockwise, while the inserting stem necessitates strong depression of the crown while turning it counterclockwise. Variants within this family of movements are poorly documented, but known variants are listed with codes for features attached to their signature. The movement is often or always signed with the designation of the primarily made variant. The functions offered by this movement include a manual-wind chronograph with durations of 60 seconds and 15 minutes, featuring cam switching; manual winding capability; sub-second display; and a date function that can be quickly adjusted by reversing the setting.
