It is part of the ETA 2800 series, but has some differences as it is a more cost-effective option. The dial feet positions of this movement carry over to other ETA calibers. It features a quickset date complication with an instantaneous changeover at 12:00 AM. Additionally, it offers a sweep seconds function and can optionally be equipped with a hack feature. This movement is characterized by central hours, central minutes, and central sweeping seconds, with the date located at 3:00. It was commonly used during the approximate time period of 1980.
