Initially created exclusively for Blancpain, it is now utilized by several high-grade brands. The movement incorporates a ball-bearing rotor for improved efficiency and incorporates a Triovis micrometer regulator for enhanced accuracy. Offering a range of functions, including an automatic chronograph with 60-second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters controlled by a pillar wheel mechanism, as well as the option for a fly-back feature. Additionally, the movement includes a sub-second hand and a date function with a quickset feature. The Dugena 2517 movement has been in use since its release in 1988.
