The Doxa 1 watch movement, also known as the model 5, was produced between 1903 and 1904 with a total of 25,000 units manufactured. It features an open face calibre and is equipped with a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The regulator is designed with a nut on the thread bow, offering precise adjustment. Notably, the movement possesses an unconventional ratchet under the base plate and employs a negative stem mechanism with a rocker bar. Its functionality includes stem winding, which can be switched using the crown or lever, as well as a sub-second display.
