Return To ShopThe Citizen 7230 watch movement, used from 1965 onwards, features a micro rotor and incorporates a double jewel bearing with 30 jewels. It includes a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier, as well as a selfwinding gear with direction switching facilitated by a pinion positioned between two large jewels. The movement's design allows for a low profile due to its indirectly driven minute and second hands. Minor modifications to the base plate and simplified date driver were implemented around 1966/67. In addition to being an automatic movement, it includes functions such as a sweep second hand and a date feature that can be set by changing between the 23rd and 24th hour, with a later modification changing the range to the 22nd and 24th hour.
