Return To ShopThe Certina 411 watch movement, produced between 1934 and 1938 with a quantity of approximately 200,000 units, features an indirect sub-second mechanism. The optional inclusion of Incabloc, an old shock protection system, was likely available only in later samples. This movement closely resembles the 1928 Revue 54. Although marketed as Raumnutzwerk, the apparent spaciousness provided by its large balance and barrel is compromised by wasteful gearing for the indirect second, resulting in poor spatial efficiency. The Longines 9L, which incorporates an indirect second, effectively optimizes space utilization by placing the gear beneath the balance. The Certina 411 movement functions through manual winding, incorporates a sub-second dial, and was predominantly used during the specified period.
