This design allows for a robust movement with a sizable balance and a low profile. While the first samples included ruby-ball bearings, the automatic gears are not equipped with jewels. The movement incorporates several functions, including manual winding, sub seconds, date display, automatic winding, sweep seconds, calendar, and was primarily used around 1945.
