The Bulova 8BA watch movement, used from 1936 onwards, features a Breguet hairspring and is comparable to the 355 movement. It offers three available hand post heights, allowing its application in both flat and curved models. The movement also incorporates Conoruma, Gruen's proprietary alloy for the hairspring and balance, which exhibits low temperature dependence. It operates with manual winding and includes a sub-second function.
