Return To ShopThe Bulova 7EDAD watch movement was developed in 1949 and was the first gents automatic-family with a ball-bearing rotor. However, it was soon replaced by the 1243UT with a different rotor shape. Throughout its production period, there were several detail modifications. The change from T to U shock device and a modified calibre resulted in various variants. It is unknown if all calibres were made in the TC variant, so only the known variants are listed. Some signatures of UT versions were also changed to UC. The Bulova 7EDAD movement features a sweep second, automatic winding, and a calendar function.
