Return To ShopThe Amida 428 watch movement is a part of the Wehrmachtswerk line, also known as the Germany Military Movement. It is closely related to the AS 1130 movement, but the differences between the two are not well-documented. It is one of many movements in this line, including the 1142, 1149, 1243, 1286, 1295, 1304, 1339, 1383, 1387, 1392, 1399, 1401, 1420, 1487, 1502, 1522, 1540, 1542, 1548, 1573, 1597, 1667, and 1685. Within the 13.5''' category, the 1337 and 1511 calibres exist, while within the 14''' category, the 1486 and 1543 calibres are found. In addition, three calibres within this line showcase an indirect sweep second: the 1155, 1164, and 1195. However, the production of these movements was relatively short-lived as they were soon succeeded by the AS 1188, which featured a direct sweep second. The Amida 428 movement is a manual wind movement with a sub-second function. It was primarily used around 1955.
