Return To ShopThe Alpina 609 is a manual wind watch movement that features a unique Incastar regulator. This regulator incorporates a free oscillating hairspring, with the end of the spring fixed between two rollers to adjust its length. This design eliminates the isochronism error caused by the gap between regulator pins. Additionally, the Alpina 609 movement offers various functions, including a sweep second hand, day/date adjustments using dedicated pushers at 8:30h and 9:30h respectively, and a moon phase display set by a pusher at 7:30h. This movement was commonly used in watches around 1955.
