Return To ShopThe Alpina 609 watch movement, produced between 1935 and 1967, had a total production of less than 16,000,000 units. It did not feature a separate escape-wheel cock. Different variations of this movement existed with various balances, but the variations were minor enough that parts of the movements could be interchanged. The differences between calibre designations such as 970, 980, 987, 999, 1014, 1036, 1047, 1056, 1090, 1210, 1217, 1251, 1254, 1276, 1375, and 1386 are not known. Some calibres with a height of 3.0mm also resembled the Alpina 609 movement. This movement was a manual wind movement with a subsecond function.
