Return To ShopThe Alpina 490 watch movement, produced during the period of 1892-1919, is a open face calibre movement. It features a bimetallic screw balance with 4 adjustment screws and is equipped with a Breguet hairspring. The movement includes a two-part crown wheel and incorporates big bearings for the crown- and ratchet wheel. The barrel is fitted with Geneva stopwork. It is worth noting that the IWC 63 12''' movement is similar to the 63-12''' movement, but it employs a set lever instead of a pin. The movement has the following functions: stem wind and lever set, and sub second.
