Return To ShopThe A. Schild 985 watch movement is an open face calibre featuring a stop- and split-second function with pillar wheels. It is equipped with a barrel incorporating Geneva stopwork, ensuring efficient power distribution. Introduced around 1960, the movement is equipped with shock protection, providing enhanced durability and reliability. Also, starting from approximately 1970, the A. Schild 985 movement implemented upgrades such as a mobile stud carrier, balance-stop, and its guide. Additionally, the movement offers a range of timer functions, including timer rattrapante with 60s (0.2s) accuracy and a 30-minute time measurement capability. Moreover, there is an option to utilize a 30-second (0.1s) accuracy rattrapante function along with a 15-minute time measurement. The movement is stem wind, and it incorporates a sweep second hand as well. Lastly, the A. Schild 985 movement supports an additional timer function.
