Its day function can be set by approximately +/- 24 hours, while the date function has a quickset feature that can be activated by reverse setting. The movement is notable for its separately driven barrel, which drives both the train and hand gear. This movement was commonly used during the period of approximately 1970. In some later versions, the hairspring terminal may be glued, and the stem mechanism does not include a setting-lever spring.
