Return To ShopThe A. Schild 1800 watch movement, which was produced around 1940, is equipped with a pin lever escapement. It features a coarse imitation of balance screws and a peculiar relic from key winding wherein the hand-gear friction is achieved by a bent minute-hand arbor in a hollow center arbor. The back side of the movement is painted in a golden color. On the dial side, there is a ratchet and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The A. Schild 1800 movement has minor differences between the 051 and 051/0 variations. It operates as a manual wind movement and includes a sub second function.
