It is equipped with an easy-to-operate rotor lock and a fixed mainspring, as well as a friction clutch on the pawl wheel. It should be noted that the A. Schild 1488 is part of the Otero family of calibers, which sometimes resulted in different designations for the same caliber. The movement offers automatic functionality, a sweep second hand, and a date function that can be set by adjusting the time between 20:30-24h.
