It features an automatic chronograph function with a 60-second and 30-minute counter, as well as a pillar wheel mechanism for smooth operation. The movement also includes a sub-second dial and a big date display located at the 6 o'clock position with a quickset feature. The A. Schild 1427 has been utilized in watches from 2005 onwards.
