Return To ShopThe A. Schild 1423 watch movement is equipped with a ball-bearing rotor and a sophisticated excenter self-winding mechanism featuring just one gear stage. It does not have a hairspring stud, with the hairspring clamped directly in the terminal. This movement shares many parts and casing dimensions with equivalent models of the 61XX family. It is an automatic movement with no manual wind function, featuring a sweep second hand. Additionally, it includes quickset functions for day and date, as well as a moon-phase display. The A. Schild 1423 movement was commonly used around 1984.
