It is characterized by the use of variations in heights and stem mechanisms, including a version with a bigger diameter for US cases. These movements can be identified by signatures indicating diameter in lignes and height in 1/12 lignes, or by newer 3-digit designations. The A. Schild 1351 movement offers the functions of stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second indicator. It was primarily used during the period around 1940.
