The movement features a bimetallic screw balance and utilizes a Breguet hairspring. Gruen has incorporated their proprietary Conoruma alloy for the balance and hairspring, ensuring minimal temperature dependence. The movement offers manual winding and includes functions such as sub-seconds and center seconds.
